Aargh! When one of my international domains came up for renewal, I decided not to pay the 60 Euros, but instead, stick with the domestic domains, at a bargain price of less than $10 per year. I thought I had transfered over all email addresses to new domains, but apparently missed one. It wouldn’t have been so bad if it had not been the address alerting me of the expiration of my host.
“Attention: your hosting space has expired. Please pay us,” went on deaf ears. The new owner of the domain probably didn’t care about my domain’s space. That’s what happens when you get a used domain. Hopefully enough spam was sent during the down time that the email addresses were removed from the spam databases, but oh well. The domain has been paid, now I just hope they didn’t delete everything that was there.
