Chase: Hollywood Stunt Driver (BAM! Entertainment)

I rented “Chase:” this week. The story of a Stunt Car driver’s daughter and student making films. You control Chase’s car as she jumps and flips and spins, and hits the powerslides around corners.

I’m old school, growing up with Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Gorf and TRON. Back in those days, the joystick was digital: it was either pushed in the direction, or it wasn’t. Things were easier then. Today’s analog controller is giving me trouble. When Chase needs to turn a corner, I invariably find myself skidding out of control with a hard turn. Powerslides turn into 360s.

Until I get the analog controller figured out, I’m rating this a “fun, but rent.”
